Elmo Delmo

The poster series for Elmo Delmo, a Zurich music venue presenting concerts across a wide range of genres, developed a distinctive analogue visual language in deliberate contrast to the polished aesthetics of fashionable clubs. Typography, illustrations and patterns were assembled by hand from photocopied elements and subsequently screen-printed, giving each poster an individual texture and material presence. A recurring rectangular frame introduces a new pattern that previews the following concert and is expanded in the next poster, visually linking each edition to the one that follows.
